World Bank Group Country Director visit to the Minister of Public Works and Transport of the Lao PDR

World Bank Group Country Director for Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos, Ms Mariam Sherman, visits Minister of Public Works and Transport, Mr Ngampasong Muongmany, to discuss future areas of cooperation. The Ministry of Public Works and Transport partners with the World Bank in many development fields, such as urban planning, water supply, and transport. There are currently five ongoing projects with the World Bank worth US$285.4 million.
